Combination Drugs
These drugs combine metformin with another oral medication
when only one form of the drug does not work alone. This is a common method
after one drug has been used alone and the effectiveness has decreased.
Some doctors are currently suggesting that the use of the three drugs may
be even more effective, but there have been no more studies on the exact
effects of this form of multiple treatments.
